BIKE TRANSFER SERVICE FROM PODBRDO TO SORIŠKA PLANINA
During summer season (end of June to September) we offer bike transfer service from Podbrdo to Soriška planina. From the top Lajnar, you can ride a military path to village Podbrdo, where our driver awaits and drives you (and your bike) back to Soriška mountain.

MOUNTAIN BIKING
The diverse terrain of Soriška planina offers interesting and attractive touring trails for mountain cyclists. Over the old military mule tracks from the era of the Rapallo border, experienced cyclists can head up to the peaks of Šavnik, Možic and all the way to Baško Sedlo. One of the most beautiful routes downhill takes you from the top of Lajnar through Kovce to Podbrdo, while in summer the competition trail Žvau is also arranged. You can access the top of Lajnar by the two-seat chairlift Lajnar.
SLOVENIAN ALPINE CYCLE-TOURING TRAIL
The Slovenian Alpine cycle-touring trail also crosses Soriška planina. The trail stamp can be found in the Brunarica guesthouse, along the parking lot.

ROAD CYCLING
Soriška planina is the second highest Alpine road pass in Slovenia. In summer, road cyclists can climb up to Soriška planina from three directions; through Železniki and Sorica from the central Slovenia, through Podbrdo and Petrovo Brdo from the Primorska region, and through Bohinjska Bistrica from the Gorenjska region.

JULIANA BIKE TRAIL
Juliana Bike's circular cycling route takes you around and across the Julian Alps and is part of the Slovenian alpine cycle-touring route. It connects villages, towns, valleys, passes and plateaus. It takes place along roads, cycle paths, forest and agricultural paths and carriageways. One of the stages also goes over Soriška planina.
