Guesthouse Brunarica

Gostišče Brunarica is a warm and homey mountain guesthouse, located on the Bohinjsko sedlo pass at an altitude of 1,287m. Above the guesthouse rises the beautiful Soriška planina highland with its peaks overlooking the magical Julian Alps. Soriška planina is truly an ideal place for all types of summer and winter activities.

At the Brunarica inn we do our best to make our guests happy by creating a true mountain experience for them. Our rooms and simple and cosy. There are seven rooms with different layouts, five rooms include a private bathroom and two attic rooms share a bathroom. Three rooms also share a balcony and a view of the top of Soriška planina. On the ground floor of Brunarica you will find a dining area and a bar, and in nice weather guests can enjoy the summer terrace and the meadow next to the guesthouse. You can also rent a barbecue area by prior arrangement.

The Brunarica guesthouse offers traditional spoon dishes, home-made sausages, rolled dumplings and home-made desserts. In summer we offer sour milk and hard-boiled mush, and if there is a large number of guests, we also offer other dishes to order. Our dishes are mainly prepared from ingredients of local producers.

The dining room can host up to fifty guests and is appropriate for private celebrations, business meetings and seminars, team-building for companies, travel lectures, creative workshops and various events of cultural associations. We also have a summer terrace that seats 60 persons and offers a spectacular view of nearby peaks and the ski resort. Genuine food flavours, the cosiness of Brunarica, hospitality of employees and the locals create an unforgettable mountain experience.
