Night Sledding at Soriška Planina
Night sledding is a new, attractive winter activity at Soriška Planina. You can reach the top of the track by the Slatnik ski lift and slide down the illuminated slope back to the lift’s starting point.
Sledding is done with specially adapted sleds for lift towing, which are provided by us. Sledding with your own sleds is not possible.
Since the number of sleds is limited, it is necessary to reserve your sleds along with the ticket through our online shop. The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of payment.Night sledding will take place every Friday and Saturday from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM from December 19, 2025 to March 14, 2026. In case of high demand, an additional evening session will be available.
During the New Year holidays, night sledding will take place every day from December 26–30, 2025 and during the winter school holidays from Thursday to Saturday, February 16–March 2, 2026.
For business and private groups, night sledding can also be arranged outside the regular operating hours upon agreement.Operating Schedule:
- 1st group from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM = 40 sleds
- 2nd group from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM = 40 sleds
- 3rd group from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM = 40 sleds
(the third group is open for reservations only if the first two are fully booked)
In the online shop, you can choose the date of your visit, the starting time, and the type of ticket. Tickets are available for 60-minute (1 hour) and 120-minute (2 hours) sledding sessions.

The price includes sled rental and a 60-minute ride with the Slatnik lift. Prices are in EUR and include 9.5% VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and operating hours.
* Children are persons between 120 cm in height and 17.99 years of age. Children under 120 cm may use the lift only when accompanied by an adult (TANDEM 2). Lift use for children under 120 cm accompanied by parents is free of charge.
** TANDEM 1: one adult and one child up to 140 cm can sled together on one sled.
*** TANDEM 2: one adult and one child up to 120 cm can sled together on one sled free of charge.
*** Helmets are mandatory for children under 15 years of age. Helmet use is also recommended for all other sledders.
The reservation of tickets and sleds is confirmed after payment is received. Payments made via UPN must be visible on the next business day after reservation and order confirmation, as transactions do not process during weekends and holidays. You can also send proof of payment to [email protected].

In case of bad weather or snow conditions, night sledding will be cancelled. Already paid reservations will be rescheduled to another date by mutual agreement.
